Last Night: Championships Conclude, China's Top 12 Sanda Fighters Crowned!
After six days of intense competition, the 2019 National Men's Wushu Sanda Championships – which also served as the qualifier for the 15th World Wushu Championships – came to a successful close in Yichang, Hubei.
The event was organized by the Wushu Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Chinese Wushu Association, the Hubei Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Yichang Municipal People's Government. It was co-organized by the Hubei Provincial Sports Bureau Wushu Sports Management Center and the Yichang Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism.
A total of 46 teams from across the country participated, with over 600 people including team leaders, coaches, and athletes – setting a new record for participation.
The finals kicked off at 7:30 PM, and after nearly two hours of intense battles, the 12 strongest Sanda fighters in China were all determined.
